April 17, 2025: Harrod, OH 45850 The Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH) baseball trounced the host Allen East Mustangs (Harrod, OH), 13-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Black Knights now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakota for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Van Buren will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 17-4 league loss to St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, Allen East drops to 3-4 on the year. The Mustangs host Jefferson (Delphos, OH) to clash with the Wildcats in a Northwest challenge on Monday, April 21. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 0-11. Jefferson lost 6-2 in their recent league challenge against Bluffton (Bluffton, OH)
