Ohio High School Baseball - Van Buren defeats Bath
May 9, 2025: Lima, OH 45801 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH) and the host Bath Wildcats (Lima, OH), saw Van Buren's baseball team gain a win over Bath by a tally of 6-1.
The Black Knights (19-2) will now prepare for their battle against Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH). The Falcons enter the Blanchard Valley battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Riverdale held off Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH), 8-7, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats face the Miller City Wildcats (Miller City, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 10. Bath will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 16-2 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Wayne Trace (Haviland, OH).
