The Center Hill Mustangs baseball squad (Olive Branch, MS), was edged 6-5 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS)

With the triumph, South Panola moves its record to 16-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Lafayette (Oxford, MS) to confront the Commodores in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 19. The Commodores come into the contest with a record of 18-8. Lafayette won 6-4 in their recent non-league contest against Starkville (Starkville, MS)

The Mustangs now possess a 10-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewisburg for a non-league contest on Friday, April 18. Center Hill will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 18-6.
