April 17, 2025: Leetonia, OH 44431 The Leetonia Bears baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Chaney Cowboys to 4 in the Bears non-league win on Thursday.
The Bears now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mathews for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22.
With the defeat, Chaney drops to 2-5 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Girard (Girard, OH) to play the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, April 18. The Indians go into the test with a record of 7-3. Girard won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Harding (Warren, OH)
