The Desert Scorpions baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Silver Valley Trojans to 2 in the Scorpions non-league win on Thursday.

The Scorpions now hold a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frazier Mountain for a High Desert test on Monday, April 28.

With the defeat, Silver Valley drops to 5-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to Academy of Careers & Exploration (Helendale, CA) to play the Eagle in a Agape test on Tuesday, April 22. The Eagle go into the test with a record of 6-8. Academy of Careers & Exploration lost 10-5 in their recent league test against Academy for Academic Excellence (Apple Valley, CA)
