The Oakdale Mustangs baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting East Union Lancers to 4 in the Mustangs league win on Thursday.

The Mustangs now hold a 16-9 record. They take the field next when they host Los Banos for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. Oakdale will play a Tigers team coming off a 10-0 league loss to El Capitan (Merced, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-10.

With the defeat, East Union drops to 13-12 on the year. The Lancers host Manteca (Manteca, CA) to play the Buffaloes in a Valley Oak League test on Monday, April 21. The Buffaloes go into the test with a record of 18-6. Manteca won 15-7 in their recent non-league test against Tokay (Lodi, CA)
