In Thursday's league match, the Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Lions battle the Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA) in a Bay Valley match, on Thursday, April 24. Liberty will attempt to move on its 20-6 season record.

The Falcons (7-14) will now prepare for their match against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA). The Pirates enter the Bay Valley match with a 11-16 record. In their last match, Pittsburg notched a victory over Concord (Concord, CA), 3-0, in a non-league match.
