The State College Little Lions baseball squad (State College, PA), was edged 6-5 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA)

With the triumph, Altoona moves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Mountain Lions host Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, PA) to confront the Wildcats in a contest on Monday, April 21. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 4-5.

The Little Lions now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mifflin County for a non-league contest on Monday, April 21. State College will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-5.
