In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Highland Park Giants lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 triumph over the Vernon Hills Cougars.

The Giants (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL). The Caxys go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Lake Forest Academy held off Taft (Chicago, IL), 10-4, in a non-league challenge.
