The Vernon Hills Cougars lacrosse squad scored 15 points and limited the visiting Rolling Meadows Mustangs to 8 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now hold a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Evanston for a Central Suburban challenge on Thursday, April 24. Vernon Hills will clash with a Wildkits squad coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Lane Tech (Chicago, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Rolling Meadows falls to 4-6 on the year. The Mustangs host Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL) to clash with the Bison in a Mid Suburban challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Bison go into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Buffalo Grove lost 19-2 in their recent league challenge against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL)
