April 17, 2025: Wilton, IA 52778 Wilton Beavers (Wilton, IA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Hempstead Mustangs (Dubuque, IA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Wilton moves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to North Scott (Eldridge, IA) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league test on Monday, April 21. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 2-4. North Scott won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Camanche (Camanche, IA)
The Mustangs now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterloo West for a Mississippi Valley - Valley test on Saturday, April 19. Hempstead will clash with a Wahawks team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Linn-Mar (Marion, IA). The Wahawks record now stands at 4-1.
