The Hanover Area Hawkeyes softball squad (Hanover Township, PA), was routed 15-5 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Wyoming Valley West Spartans (Plymouth, PA)

With the triumph, Wyoming Valley West improves its record to 1-6 on the year. The Spartans host Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA) to face the Tigers in a Wyoming Valley 1 contest on Tuesday, April 22. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 8-1.

The Hawkeyes now hold a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to MMI Preparatory School for a non-league contest on Monday, April 21. Hanover Area will face a squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Berwick (Berwick, PA). The record now stands at 0-2.
