The Northwest Mohawks softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Huntington Huntsmen to 3 in the Mohawks non-league win on Thursday.

The Mohawks now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peebles for a non-league battle on Friday, April 18. Northwest will confront a Indians team coming off a 10-8 league loss to North Adams (Seaman, OH). The Indians record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Huntington moves to 5-8 on the season. The Huntsmen travel to Trimble (Glouster, OH) to confront the Tomcats in a non-league battle on Friday, April 18.
