April 17, 2025: Paris, AR 72855 Lamar Warriors (Lamar, AR) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Paris Eagles (Paris, AR), 12-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Lamar upgrades its record to 8-6 on the year. The Warriors host Cossatot River (Cove, AR) to play the Eagles in a 3A Region 4 game on Friday, April 18. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 3-9. Cossatot River won 17-1 in their recent non-league game against Kirby (Kirby, AR)
The Eagles now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Clarksville for a non-league game on Monday, April 21. Paris will play a Panthers squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to Pottsville (Pottsville, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 2-17.
