The Buchanan Bears baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Central East Bengals to 4 in the Bears league win on Friday.

The Bears now hold a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they host Clovis West for a Tri-River test on Tuesday, April 21. Buchanan will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Clovis East (Clovis, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 10-9.

With the defeat, Central East drops to 5-14 on the year. The Bengals host Clovis North (Fresno, CA) to play the Broncos in a Tri-River test on Tuesday, April 21. The Broncos go into the test with a record of 15-5. Clovis North won 3-0 in their recent league test against Clovis (Clovis, CA)
