The McDonald Blue Devils triumphed over the host Chaney Cowboys softball squad by a count of 5-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Brookfield Warriors (Brookfield, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 18. McDonald will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 15-4 league win over Liberty (Youngstown, OH).

The Cowboys (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Girard (Girard, OH). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record.
