The Mountain View Prep Stars overwhelmed the host Chapman Panthers softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Stars meet the Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC) in a AAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, April 21. Mountain View Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 11-9 non-league loss to Chesnee (Chesnee, SC).

The Panthers (5-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Union County (Union, SC). The Yellowjackets go into the AAA Region 3 challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Union County toppled Broome (Spartanburg, SC), 11-1, in a league challenge.
