The East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) softball the visiting Franklin County Wildcats (Brookville, IN), 3-1 in Monday's league bout.

The Trojans (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Jennings County (North Vernon, IN). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Jennings County held off Greensburg (Greensburg, IN), 6-5, in a non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Dearborn for a Eastern Indiana bout on Wednesday, April 20. Franklin County will confront a Knights squad coming off a 18-4 league loss to Connersville (Connersville, IN). The Knights record now stands at 5-7.
