California High School Softball - Monte Vista bounces Lincoln
April 18, 2022: San Diego, CA 92113 The Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA) softball routed the host Lincoln Hornets (San Diego, CA), 20-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Monarchs (10-7) will now prepare for their bout against Valhalla (El Cajon, CA). The Norsemen go into the Grossmont Valley bout with a 13-6 record. In their last bout, Valhalla was routed by Calexico (Calexico, CA), 16-1, in a non-league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hoover for a City Central bout on Thursday, April 21. Lincoln will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Kearny (San Diego, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-9.
