Arkansas High School Baseball - Rison holds off Parkers Chapel
April 18, 2023: El Dorado, AR 71730 Rison Wildcats (Rison, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Parkers Chapel Trojans (El Dorado, AR), 4-0 in a league test.
With the win, Rison upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Woodlawn (Rison, AR) to battle the Bears in a 2A Region 8 test on Friday, April 21. The Bears come into the test with a record of 8-1. Woodlawn won 11-5 in their recent non-league test against Central (Little Rock, AR)
With the defeat, Parkers Chapel falls to 1-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Fordyce (Fordyce, AR) to battle the Redbugs in a 2A Region 8 test on Friday, April 21. The Redbugs come into the test with a record of 1-2. Fordyce lost 12-0 in their recent league test against Woodlawn (Rison, AR)
