Virginia High School Softball - Orange County bounces Monticello
April 18, 2023: Orange, VA 22960 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) and the visiting Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), saw Orange County's softball squad achieve victory over Monticello by a count of 10-0.
The Fighting Hornets now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goochland for a non-league match on Thursday, April 20. Orange County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Monticello falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Thursday, April 20. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 3-3.
