Virginia High School Lacrosse - Herndon drops to Yorktown
April 18, 2023: Herndon, VA 20170 In Tuesday's league test, the visiting Yorktown Patriots lacrosse squad scored a good 16-7 victory over the Herndon Hornets.
The Patriots now have a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Patriot for a non-league test on Thursday, April 20. Yorktown will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 19-2 league win over Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-3.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) in a Liberty test, on Tuesday, April 25. Herndon will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Generals come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Meridian (Falls Church, VA).
