Connecticut High School Softball - Goodwin Tech can't get by Abbott RVT
April 18, 2023: Danbury, CT 06811 In Tuesday's league contest, the Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT) softball team held off the visiting Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT), by a margin of 18-17.
With the triumph, Abbott RVT moves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT) to play the Spartans in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 19. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 5-0. Shepaug Valley won 11-0 in their recent league contest against Housatonic (Falls Village, CT)
In their next game, the Gladiators play the Vinal RVT Hawks (Middletown, CT) in a Connecticut Tech contest, on Friday, April 21. Goodwin Tech will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 22-0 league loss to Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT).
