April 18, 2023: Appleton, WI 54915 The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Neenah Rockets (Neenah, WI) and the host Appleton East Patriots (Appleton, WI), saw Neenah's softball squad nip Appleton East by a count of 7-0.
The Rockets now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Oshkosh North for a Fox Valley Association match on Thursday, April 20. Neenah will face a Spartans squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Fond du Lac (Fond du Lac, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Appleton East falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Kaukauna (Kaukauna, WI) to face the Galloping Ghosts in a Fox Valley Association match on Thursday, April 20. The Galloping Ghosts enter the match with a record of 5-0. Kaukauna won 4-0 in their recent league match against Kimberly (Kimberly, WI)
