Illinois High School Softball - Richards holds off Argo
April 18, 2023: Summit, IL 60501 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) and the host Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), witnessed Richards's softball squad tip Argo by a count of 6-4.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Andrew for a non-league match on Saturday, April 22. Richards will clash with a Thunderbolts team coming off a 12-2 league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 15-2.
In their next game, the Argonauts clash with the Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL) in a South Suburban - Blue game, on Thursday, April 20. Argo will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Hawks come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 15-0 league loss to Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL).
