Van Vandals (Van, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lindale Eagles (Lindale, TX), 8-2 in a league challenge.

The Vandals now own a 16-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand Saline for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. Van will battle a Indians squad coming off a 8-2 league win over Edgewood (Edgewood, TX). The Indians record now stands at 20-11.

With the loss, Lindale falls to 13-18 on the campaign.
