In Thursday's non-league test, the host Northern Highlands Highlanders lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-6 victory over the Verona Hillbillies.

The Highlanders now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Montclair for a non-league test on Saturday, April 20. Northern Highlands will face a Mounties squad coming off a 11-7 non-league win over West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ). The Mounties record now stands at 4-2.

In their next game, the Hillbillies face the Immaculate Heart Academy Blue Eagles (Washington Township, NJ) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 20. Verona will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Blue Eagles come into the test with a 2-5 record after their 14-8 league loss to Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ).
