South Carolina High School Soccer - Lugoff-Elgin knocks off Irmo
April 18, 2024: Lugoff, SC 29078 Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Irmo Yellowjackets (Columbia, SC), 7-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Demons confront the Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 22. Lugoff-Elgin will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Aiken (Aiken, SC).
The Yellowjackets now have a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridge View for a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Monday, April 22. Irmo will confront a Blazers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC). The Blazers record now stands at 9-9.
