Maine High School Softball - Richmond can't get by Valley
April 18, 2024: Richmond, ME 04357 In Thursday's league contest, the Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME) softball team held off the host Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME), by a margin of 10-9.
With the triumph, Valley moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME) to play the Panthers in a Class D South contest on Saturday, April 27. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 3-1.
In their next game, the Bobcats play the Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME) in a Class D South contest, on Thursday, April 25. Richmond will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
