April 18, 2025: Covington, OK 73730 The Covington-Douglas Wildcats (Covington, OK) baseball trounced the visiting Waynoka Railroaders (Waynoka, OK), 8-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they host Waukomis for a Skeltur challenge on Monday, April 21. Covington-Douglas will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Cherokee (Cherokee, OK). The Chiefs record now stands at 17-7.
With the defeat, Waynoka drops to 7-9 on the year. The Railroaders host Coyle (Coyle, OK) to clash with the Bluejackets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 19. The Bluejackets go into the challenge with a record of 4-12.
