Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV), 12-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Preston moves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Knights host Lincoln (Shinnston, WV) to battle the Cougars in a Big Ten match on Monday, April 21. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 8-9. Lincoln lost 14-4 in their recent non-league match against Northern Garrett (Accident, MD)

The Colts now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pendleton County for a non-league match on Saturday, April 19. Philip Barbour will battle a Wildcat squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to North Marion (Farmington, WV). The Wildcat record now stands at 6-5.
