Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV), 7-4 in a league match.

With the triumph, Preston advances its record to 7-6 on the season. The Knights host Elkins (Elkins, WV) to battle the Tigers in a Big Ten match on Monday, April 28. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 4-15. Elkins won 13-4 in their recent non-league match against Pendleton County (Franklin, WV)

The Bees now have a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Marshall for a non-league match on Friday, April 25. East Fairmont will battle a Monarchs squad coming off a 13-12 non-league win over St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH). The Monarchs record now stands at 7-11.
