The Summit Shasta Black Bears baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Pinewood Panthers to 0 in the Black Bears league win on Friday.

The Black Bears now hold a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mission for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. Summit Shasta will play a Bears team coming off a 18-9 league loss to Washington (San Francisco, CA). The Bears record now stands at 4-13.

With the defeat, Pinewood drops to 2-8 on the year. The Panthers travel to Harker (San Jose, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, April 21.
