In Friday's league test, the Athens Wildcats (Athens, PA) softball squad the host North Penn-Liberty Mountie (Liberty, PA), by a count of 5-1.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Troy Trojans (Troy, PA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 24. Athens will attempt to upgrade on its 8-0 season record.
