The Loara Saxons softball team scored 7 runs and held the host La Quinta Aztecs to 5 in the Saxons league win on Friday.

The Saxons now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Ana Valley for a Garden Grove battle on Wednesday, April 23. Loara will confront a Falcons team coming off a 10-0 league win over Estancia (Costa Mesa, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, La Quinta moves to 5-9 on the season. The Aztecs host Westminster (Westminster, CA) to confront the Lions in a non-league battle on Monday, April 21. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 9-10. Westminster won 12-1 in their recent non-league battle against Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA)
