In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Sitka Wolves baseball team scored a close 9-2 win over the Kodiak Bears.

The Wolves (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK). The Crimson Bears go into the Southeast game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Juneau-Douglas nudged West Valley (Fairbanks, AK), 7-2, in a non-league game.

Next, the Bears play the Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK) in a Northern Lights game, on Friday, April 24. Kodiak will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Kardinals go into the game with a 2-0 record after their 12-2 non-league win over North Pole (North Pole, AK).
