In Saturday's league game, the visiting Peru Nighthawks baseball team scored a nice 15-4 win over the Saranac Chiefs.

The Nighthawks (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY). The Hornets go into the Section 7 Champlain Valley I game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Plattsburgh knocked off Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY), 1-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Chiefs play the Beekmantown Eagles (Plattsburgh, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I game, on Monday, April 20. Saranac will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
