April 19, 2021: Lithonia, GA 30038 Spectators at Monday's league battle between the M.L. King Lions (Lithonia, GA) and the visiting Clarkston Angoras (Clarkston, GA), saw M.L. King's baseball squad knock off Clarkston by a count of 18-5.
Coming up next, the Lions play the Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 battle, on Wednesday, April 21. M.L. King will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 11-12 record after their 7-0 league win over Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA).
The Angoras now possess a 5-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Miller Grove for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 20. Clarkston will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 22-5 league loss to Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-10.
