April 19, 2021: New Britain, CT 06051 Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT), 21-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Dragons now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Platt for a Central Connecticut - South challenge on Wednesday, April 21. Middletown will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, New Britain falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Golden hurricanes travel to Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 21.
