Virginia High School Soccer - Salem nudges Pulaski County
April 19, 2022: Dublin, VA 24084 Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Spartans confront the Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) in a River Ridge challenge, on Friday, April 22. Salem will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA).
The Cougars now have a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christiansburg for a River Ridge challenge on Friday, April 22. Pulaski County will confront a Blue Demons team coming off a 14-13 league win over Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 5-2.
