Bagdad Sultans (Bagdad, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Salome Frogs (Salome, AZ), 15-1 in a league challenge.

The Sultans now sport a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mohave Accelerated for a 1A West challenge on Friday, April 22. Bagdad will face a Patriots squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Mountainside (Wittmann, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Salome falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Frogs travel to Antelope (Wellton, AZ) to face the Rams in a 1A West challenge on Friday, April 22. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 8-6. Antelope won 27-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ)
