Stansbury Stallions (Stansbury Park, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Cottonwood Colts (Salt Lake City, UT), 23-0 in a league challenge.

The Stallions now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Uintah for a 5A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, April 21. Stansbury will battle a Utes squad coming off a 11-9 league win over Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT). The Utes record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, Cottonwood falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Colts host Hillcrest (Midvale, UT) to battle the Huskies in a 5A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 6-10. Hillcrest lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Payson (Payson, UT)
