April 19, 2022: De Soto, KS 66018 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the De Soto Wildcats (De Soto, KS) and the visiting Turner Golden Bears (Kansas City, KS), saw De Soto's softball squad achieve victory over Turner by a count of 11-1.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ottawa for a Frontier match on Thursday, April 21. De Soto will face a Cyclones squad coming off a 7-3 league win over Louisburg (Louisburg, KS). The Cyclones record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Turner falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Golden bears travel to Leavenworth (Leavenworth, KS) to face the PIONEERS in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 26. The PIONEERS enter the match with a record of 3-6.
