April 19, 2022: Rockford, IL 61114 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) and the host Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL), witnessed North Boone's softball squad prevail over Lutheran by a count of 21-1.
The Vikings now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Dixon for a Big Northern match on Thursday, April 21. North Boone will meet a Dukes & Duchesses squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Winnebago (Winnebago, IL). The Dukes & Duchesses record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Lutheran moves to 0-5 on the season. The Crusaders host Winnebago (Winnebago, IL) to meet the Indians in a Big Northern match on Wednesday, April 20. The Indians go into the match with a record of 0-4. Winnebago lost 6-1 in their recent league match against Dixon (Dixon, IL)
