Virginia High School Softball - Prince George bounces Petersburg
April 19, 2022: Prince George, VA 23875 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) and the visiting Petersburg Crimson Wave (Petersburg, VA), witnessed Prince George's softball squad prevail over Petersburg by a count of 14-0.
The Royals now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Hopewell for a Central match on Thursday, April 21. Prince George will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Petersburg moves to 0-2 on the season. The Crimson wave host Huguenot (Richmond, VA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league battle on Monday, April 25. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 0-1.
