The West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) baseball the host Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC), 7-2 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Falcons play the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A contest, on Friday, April 21. West Rowan will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 16-4 record after their 12-10 non-league win over Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC).

The Cougars now sport a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they host South Caldwell for a Northwestern 3A/4A contest on Friday, April 21. Alexander Central will play a Spartans squad coming off a 21-2 league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 12-7.
