April 19, 2023: Blue Hill, ME 04614 The George Stevens Academy Eagles softball team (Blue Hill, ME), was routed 7-2 in Wednesday's league bout with the visiting Sumner Tigers (East Sullivan, ME)
The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Bucksport (Bucksport, ME). The Golden Bucks go into the Class C North bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Bucksport held off Orono (Orono, ME), 14-4, in a league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mattanawcook for a Class C North bout on Friday, April 21. George Stevens Academy will confront a Lynx squad coming off a 16-5 league win over Central (East Corinth, ME). The Lynx record now stands at 1-0.
