St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Carolina Forest Panthers (Myrtle Beach, SC), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, St. James upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Sharks host Conway (Conway, SC) to battle the Tigers in a 5A Region 5 test on Monday, April 22. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 9-10. Conway lost 9-3 in their recent league test against Sumter (Sumter, SC)

With the defeat, Carolina Forest falls to 7-12 on the season. The Panthers host Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 23. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 10-8.
