Maine High School Softball - Machias bounces Jonesport-Beals
April 19, 2024: Machias, ME 04654 The Machias Bulldogs routed the visiting Jonesport-Beals Royals softball squad by a count of 10-4 in Friday's league battle.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Sumner (East Sullivan, ME). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Sumner nudged Narraguagus (Harrington, ME), 9-5, in a league battle.
The Royals now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Woodland for a Class D North battle on Monday, April 22. Jonesport-Beals will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME). The Dragons record now stands at 0-2.
