West Virginia High School Softball - St. Albans bounces South Charleston
April 19, 2024: St. Albans, WV 25177 St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV), 8-0 in a league challenge.
The Red Dragons now sport a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they host Nitro for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. St. Albans will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 22-6 non-league loss to Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-14.
With the loss, South Charleston falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Black eagles travel to Sherman (Seth, WV) to face the Tide in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. The Tide enter the challenge with a record of 10-2. Sherman won 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV)
